You've played the classic solitaire game Klondike. Now it's time for a change. Try Spiderette Solitaire!
Spiderette is a hybrid between Spider Solitaire and Klondike Solitaire. It looks an awful lot like Klondike Solitaire, but it plays by the rules of Spider Solitaire.
You get one deck, and depending on your settings, all cards will either be:
The rules are basically the same as spider: ultimately, your goal is to clear cards from the table by creating a sequence from King, to Queen, to Jack, etc, all the way down to Ace, and all of the same suit. When you create a complete sequence like this, those cards are removed from the board. When you remove everything from the board, you win!
Playing with one suit will be relatively straightforward. Any lesser number can be placed on a number of a higher value. Multiple cards can be dragged at once, from one pile to another.
But when you play with multiple cards, things get interesting. Again, any lesser card can be moved onto a card that is one number higher in value (a seven, onto an eight for instance). BUT, you can't drag multiple cards at once unless they're all of the same suit.
So be careful! Mix and matching suits is almost always a necessity when you're playing the multiple suit version, but you don't want to get things too mixed up or you'll find yourself in an unwinnable situation.
If you like spider solitaire, and are looking for something shorter, or even just looking for something new, give spiderette solitaire a try!
